Microsoft launched its Xbox Series games online Thursday and previewed some of the company's most anticipated games, such as Halo Infinite and Fable 4.
Those who want details on how much the new Xbox Series X console will cost or when it will be released were probably disappointed. This was a video game centered event. For what it's worth, the new Xbox is expected to be released at an unspecified time in the upcoming Christmas season. Some analysts expect it to cost $ 499.
Although Microsoft is pushing ahead with its upcoming Xbox console, the company also strongly emphasized its Game Pass online subscription service, which the company says has approximately 10 million subscribers in April. Xbox boss Phil Spencer stressed that all video games that the company demonstrated will be available on Game Pass the day they are released.

The Xbox event opened with an expanded scene from Halo Infinite, the latest addition to Microsoft's Halo first-person shooter franchise. Halo and his lead master Master are for Xbox as Super Mario Brothers and his leading Italian plumber for Nintendo.
The Halo franchise was developed by Microsoft Studio 343 Industries and represents the type of exclusive video games (that is, they are only available on Xbox) that Microsoft needs to stand out from competitors such as Sony and Nintendo.
As in previous Halo games, Halo Infinite is no different from other first-person shooters who value fast-paced action and many, many shots. After a brief interaction between an angry colleague with an Eastern European accent, the armored hero of the game gets straight to the point – he screams screaming aliens to pieces, while multicolored lasers fly across the screen like fireworks the fourth of July.
The images were impressive when the hero went around an alien planet that resembles a peaceful valley in Yosemite while aiming at small, excited aliens.
The game should be released during the holiday season.
"Fable 4"
The latest edition of the Fable franchise, Fable 4, was developed by another Microsoft-owned game developer, Studio Playground Games. It is arguably one of the most anticipated games for the new Xbox console. The fans admire the franchise's playful, fairytale aesthetic.
The game is part of the action / role-playing genre in which players take control of a character who embarks on an epic quest where they gradually become more powerful and acquire new skills as the game progresses.
Microsoft has not said when the game will be released.
"Forza Motorsport"
Forza Motorsport is the next installment of the Xbox racing game franchise, known for its detailed depictions of real racing cars and racetracks.
Unfortunately, not much has been said about the new Forza game developed by Microsoft Turn 10 Studios. It's about chic cars that drive very fast on a track, that's for sure.
"Psychonauts 2"
If you were wondering what the funny guy Jack Black is up to, he was shown to sing a song that is part of the upcoming Psychonauts 2 video game developed by Microsoft's Double Fine Gaming Studio.
"Lost alone, neither skin nor bones," Black sang in a recording studio, alongside scenes from the action game that seem to revolve around a little boy walking through a colorful world that resembles a cartoon on Saturday morning.
The game is part of the genre of games known as platformers, in which players have to jump, climb and run as if they were on an obstacle course. Unlike other platform games, Psychonauts 2 has a retro aesthetic that captures a little psychedelia from the 1960s. This can best be illustrated by a short scene with a hippie bus.
This game will be released sometime in 2021.
& # 39; The Medium & # 39;
The medium, developed by the Polish game studio Bloober Team, looks like a horror game with a very serious woman who ventures through a dilapidated mansion. One of the characteristics of the game is the ability of the players to switch between two worlds – the real world in the haunted villa and the spirit realm.
The game will be released during the holiday season.
