Acer announced several new laptops, desktops and monitors at its press conference today. However, it took a pause from these announcements to introduce something in a completely new product category: energy drinks. As if it were meant to fulfill its own player stereotype, Acer is now producing energy drinks.
It's called Predator Shot and is based on the name. It is aimed at players who want a little more swing. Acer says it's full of vitamins and minerals, including vitamin B and lutein, and probably tons of caffeine. Neither a release date nor a price has been given for the Predator Shot, but according to the live stream, it appears to be edible. This is a good start for a company that mainly focuses on things you can't eat.

Jason Chen, CEO of Acer, next went on to perhaps an even more bizarre announcement: the new Predator gaming chair with two Bluetooth speakers mounted in the headrest and massage elements that keep you relaxed and smooth. The controls are cleverly integrated into the right armrest, and according to Acer it can be massaged from the neck to the waist. The cool thing about this model is also that it is compatible with Acer's $ 14,000 Thronos Air-Rig, which surrounds you with displays attached with motorized arms. Acer did not share the price or release date for this chair.
