Pablo Reyes secured a three run homer in the fourth inning to help the Milwaukee Brewers beat hosts San Diego Padres 8-5 on Wednesday in Peoria, Arizona.
Padre's left-hander Blake Snell made his spring debut for his new team, knocking out one and walking one during a 15-pitch inning. The 2018 American League Cy Young Award winner was taken over by the Tampa Bay Rays in the off-season.
"It's definitely weird. I'm not going to lie, but it's good weird," said Snell of his new surroundings. "I like my team-mates a lot. I felt comfortable here a lot faster than I thought. It's just a really cool place."
Reyes' explosion gave the Brewers a 4-0 lead before San Diego rebounded to finish off Gosuke Katoh's three-time homer in the seventh inning with 5 points. Milwaukee's Garrett Mitchell hit a tiebreaking single in eighth and the Brewers added runs on a wild pitch and sacrificed the fly.

Jose Rondon hit a homer with two runs and also delivered a triple with runs scoring to help St. Louis beat New York in Jupiter, Florida. The Mets had six extra base hits out of a total of 13 and were 6-of-21 with a runner in goal position.

Adam Duvall hit a triple homer to visit Miami and slip past Washington. Kyle Schwarber and Josh Bell made solo recordings for the Nationals.

Shohei Ohtani hit a two run homer to help Los Angeles beat Texas in Tempe, Arizona. Steele Walker went deep into the Rangers.
Red Sox 14, Twins 6 (7 innings)
Bobby Dalbec scored twice and drove in three runs. Hunter Renfroe also had three RBIs when Boston overtook hosts Minnesota in Fort Myers, Florida. Nelson Cruz hit a three-run homer for the twins while Mitch Garver and Kyle Garlick did solo recordings.
Rays 3, Pirates 1 (6 innings)
Wander Franco hit a solo homer and Austin Meadows made up for a duel when Tampa Bay defeated Pittsburgh in Port Charlotte, Florida. The pirates had only two hits and were 6-0 with runners in goal position.

Andrew Knapp hit a two-run double for a third four-run inning when a visit to Philadelphia defeated Detroit in Lakeland, Florida. Niko Goodrum had two of the Tigers' five hits.

DJ Stewart and Austin Hays buckled up Homer to help Baltimore overtake hosts Atlanta in Venice, Florida. Ozzie Albies went deep into the Braves.
Diamondbacks 9, Indians 4 (7 innings)
Christian Walker hit a homer in two runs and Domingo Leyba added a solo shot as Arizona defeated hosts Cleveland in Goodyear, Arizona. Franmil Reyes scored for the Indians.
Royals 6, White Sox 5 (6 innings)
Edward Olivares double with two runs to get a fifth inning with three runs when Kansas City beat Chicago in Surprise, Arizona. Zack Collins met the White Sox.
Rockies 10, Athletics 7 (7 innings)
Colton Welker petted an unusual three-tiebreaking single in the sixth inning as Colorado bounced back from a 7-0 deficit and stunned Oakland in Scottsdale, Arizona. Matt Olson had three RBIs for athletics.

Jack Reinheimer hit a two-tie homer in the ninth inning without Seattle hitting hosts in Mesa, Arizona. Joc Pederson, Anthony Rizzo and Michael Hermosillo went deep into the cubs.
