Prime Minister Boris Johnson was able to travel short distances as part of the care he receives to help him recover, his office said on Friday.
Boris Johnson came from the intensive care unit on Thursday after three nights and is recovering in an infirmary.
"The Prime Minister was able to take short walks between rest periods as part of his care," said a Downing Street spokesman.
"He spoke to his doctors and thanks the entire clinical team for the incredible care that he has received."
