The Spanish startup Bnext is revising its cashback program so that you can buy directly from Bnext in partner stores Get the app and some money back. The company has partnered with Button and the feature is available as an open beta.
Traditional cashback portals are a bit chunky. When you find an offer that gives you 2% of your money back, click on the offer, it will redirect to the partner page and hope that your purchase will be registered. A little later you will get some money back on the cashback website that you will need to withdraw into your bank account.
If you use Bnext as a bank account, you can access bonuses directly via your banking app. In addition, you will not be redirected to another website if you buy goods directly through the Bnext app.
There are several levels. When you make your first purchase using the function, you save an average of 1%. If you've made more than three purchases in the last 30 days, you save an average of 3%. To reach level 3, you need a Premium Bnext subscription. With this level you save an average of 5%.
Partners include AliExpress, Booking.com, eDreams, Europcar, Nike, Just Eat and others. After all, the startup wants you to earn rewards with in-store purchases. With this function, Bnext creates a new source of income because the start keeps part of the income from each transaction.
Bnext offers checking accounts and payment cards. You can receive notifications for every transaction with your card and temporarily lock and unlock your card. You don't pay a foreign transaction fee as long as you spend less than € 2,000 per month with a standard account.
The company has also put together a marketplace for fintech Products. You can earn interest by lending money to small businesses, getting a loan, insurance product, and more in October.
The startup expanded to Mexico earlier this year. The company plans to launch rewards in Mexico soon. Bnext has managed to attract just under 400,000 users.
