D-Black da Ghana Bwouy (nee Desmond Kwesi Blackmore) is a Ghanaian rapper and entrepreneur who is the prominent United Nations Ambassador to Ghana. He performed in 2008 with a groundbreaking collaboration with partner Kewku T called Target Practice. Their singles "Move" and "Breathe" earned them a place in Ghana's rap elite. D-Black went solo in 2010 with Music, Love and Life. He won Hip-Hop Song of the Year at the 2011 Ghana Music Awards for the album's single "Get on the Dance Floor," which allowed his English-speaking raps to cross continents.
