Blurb from the author: I've always wanted to explore marine life at some of the most beautiful dive sites in the world, but I'm afraid of deep water. Diving has always been a very technical activity for me, which, if done wrong, can lead to death. On top of that, I can't even really swim and it seems like there is no hope for me while diving.
Melanie is one

Not only did she meet people from different industries and countries, all of whom are united by their love of the sea, but also opened their own diving center called Flow Dive Center.

Swimming for 13 years are the ones who lead the operation.
Curious about the
After taking Malaysian diving lessons, we spoke to Melanie to learn more about her
An increasing demand
In the 4 years that
She headed the Flow Dive Center, Melanie watched this demand for
Classes are actually on the up.
“Millennials are today
much more willing to experience than to have. You would rather experience
and create memories like spending on materialistic goods, ”she and I shared
Believe her, since I fit the description.
"Even with the ascent
On social media, FOMO (fear of being missed) is on the rise and diving
definitely at the top of the list of "cool" things to do. "
What she said is
also supported by their own clientele, which is mainly composed of young adults of old age
20 to 35. For the rest of her customers, she has children as small as

The courses are simple and progressive, Melanie said, why
everybody can participate.
"With the right structure
like theory, pool, then open water, you are slowly introduced into skills and
Knowledge to ensure a fun learning experience, ”she said.
"In my opinion everyone
can dive if they think about it! However, we strongly recommend that our
Customers who do not swim take some basic swimming courses first. "
Well, I definitely notice it
This advice if I decide to learn to dive.
Immerse yourself in opportunities
If you've been to the Google Flow Dive Center, you may find that they're in the PJ Palm Sports Center, which has another dive center called Seamonkey Dive Center.
That sounds like one
close competitor, and not just figuratively.

We asked Melanie about the building, how it affects the business.
She revealed: "Actually, the Seamonkey Dive Center was the previous main diving center at the PJ Palm Sports Center, but they decided to focus on their business in Tioman and move to a smaller facility here."
For this reason, the Flow Dive Center came in and set up a shop. It is now the main diving center there.

So who wants
To use the pool for diving activities, the Flow tanks would have to be rented
To stand out from other dive centers, they take great pride in the quality of customer service they offer. "Our service doesn't end when you receive your license," said Melanie.
"We are trying to build one
long-term relationship with our students, most of whom eventually become tight
Friends of ours. For this reason, a large number of community events take place
all year round to keep our community close. "
And based on what Melanie
told me about her diving trips to islands for days with students,
There is no doubt that this is one way of maintaining their relationship.

In addition to courses and excursions, the Flow Dive Center is also a retail center for diving equipment and the like, and Melanie announced that they have had a healthy sales pipeline across all streams so far.
Go against the current
Over the years
Melanie also found that male diving dominated diving
"When it comes to
Diving, the very first ideas that come to my mind are that it's an extreme
Sport is very physically demanding and dangerous. "
Not to mention it
with many beauty standards on the opposite end of darker skin and drier
It's no surprise that a lot of hair (which sun exposure can lead to when diving)
Women tend to shy away from the sport.
However, she is pleased to see that more and more women have started sport in recent years, although there is still a great shortage of women who are upgrading to professional diving status or even opening a diving center.

Melanie believes that Flow
The diving center can play a role in remedying the lack of women in diving
take advantage of the trend of the global equality movement.
In line with it
said that the Flow Dive Center definitely plays with some ideas about women
Empowerment through diving.
Bottom line: Despite my fear of diving, I think I am still ready to take the plunge (ha! See what I did there?), In the near or far future. The attraction of the breathtaking beauty of the ocean, paired with the thrill of lurking dangers, is just one package that I can simply be drawn to. But first I need swimming lessons.
