Erykah Badu delighted her fans with a live streaming quarantine concert on Sunday evening (March 5). She started packing the virtual house long before her gig went live and she didn't disappoint!
It was the second episode of the artist for an interactive "quarantine concert series".
The concert showed the neo-soul singer and her entire band from 8 / 7c on Sunday (April 5) Badu when she premiered "Apocalypse Two: The Rooms". Fans who broadcast the show live are asked to pay an entrance fee of $ 2 before "moving from room to room in their home and exploring and experimenting with various music genres that are interpreted in their hit catalog", as reported in a press release. She has also placed a "Donate" button on her website for those who want to raise some money to help first-aiders and others suffering from the spread of the coronavirus.
"I'm the laziest artist in the world. My dream has always been to perform from my bed and know what? It came through!" She said in an interview.
Members are pampered with a variety of cameras and technologies set up in their home audience!
The concert is now taking place at the Badu World Market.
