Game of Thrones ending: Will one of these THREE take the Iron Throne? | Books | Entertainment

Forget Daenerys Targaryen, Jon Snow, Arya Stark and Tyrion Lannister. The ending of , which author Martin says is his plan for A Dream of Spring, won’t be tidy or obvious surely? Dany may have taken King’s Landing, but we highly doubt she’ll make it out alive of the final episode. In fact, the best odds are on Brad Stark, Sansa Stark and Gendry Baratheon, and here’s why one of them will probably take the Iron Throne at the conclusion of A Song of Ice and Fire.

Bran Stark 2-9

The crippled son of Ned is already immensely powerful as the Three-Eyed Raven.

And let’s not forget that the Night King touched him before the latter’s ultimate demise at the hand of Arya.

Now a new fan theory claims The Night King turned Bran evil and saw him warged into Drogon to personally burn King’s Landing against Daenerys’ intentions.

Sansa Stark 5-1

She’s already become quite the ruler up in Winterfell and has hinted that she could be a better ruler of Westeros than Dany.

Certainly, the two women didn’t exactly get along and Sansa knows that Jon Snow is actually the true Targaryen heir to the Iron Throne.

Perhaps Snow will give her the throne or she’ll take it if both he and Dany die?

Gendry Baratheon 10-1

He survived Joffrey’s purging of King Robert Baratheon’s bastards and was legitimised by Daenerys herself.

with Dany taking the role of the mad Targaryen monarch, while the Starks and Lannisters around her plan a rebellion?

What better way to finish this plan than to have a Baratheon back on throne?

Whatever happens and whoever ends up on the Iron Throne, not all fans are going to be pleased with the outcome.
