Like most of us, you've probably been stuck in the house for months. Sitting around, walking up and down, watching a lot of bad TV. Would anything be better than finally having time outdoors to communicate with nature and watch a little high definition television?
Outdoor sets have so far been largely the domain of specialist companies with names like SunBriteTV. Samsung is now entering the niche category with the Terrace line. The sets also have a fairly niche price, ranging from $ 3,499 for the 55-inch model to $ 6,499 for the 75-inch model.
With the high price, you get IP55 weather protection against inevitable water and dust. The 2160p screen is an extremely bright 2000 nits screen that is bright enough to see in the sunlight. It has all the necessary connections, but Samsung mainly focuses on wireless connectivity, so users (installers) only need to connect it to a power source. There is also a separate terrace soundbar with IP55 protection. This will cost you an additional $ 1,200 to complete the setup.
Maybe it's just me who is grumpy and a little uncomfortable because I'm stuck in a New York apartment for months, but the last thing I want to do when I leave is watch TV. Admittedly, this pandemic is beginning to reach me. If you have the inclination, outdoor space, and several great editions, Samsung is the one for you.
