Donald Glover's new album, 3.15.20is officially here! On March 22, the rapper made the 12-track LP available for streaming on all platforms a week after the temporary sharing on the donaldgloverpresent.com website. The collection of songs includes artists such as Ariana Grande, SZA and 21 Savage. Previously, he worked with Grande on their song "Break Your Heart Right Back" and worked with SZA on the music video "This Is America".
Glover's newest music project, a sequel to 2016, "Awake, my dear!", contains previously released tracks "Feels Like Summer", "Warlords" and "Algorhythm" (although most of the song titles are numbers that listeners try to decode). It also seems that he has kept his Gambino nickname after announcing his retirement in 2017. However, some fans speculate about it 3.15.20 is the last hoorah for the sobriquet. It is worth noting that while the cover for the album is just a white square, a YouTube video of the entire LP "Donald Glover" shows in a rainbow-colored retro stylization. Glover also changed his Twitter header to the same picture.
When Glover put the LP on donaldgloverpresent.com for the first time, it was played in an endless loop with a black and white illustration of a panicked city with four fields. Now the page shows a snapshot of a story from Glover. What's that supposed to mean? To listen 3.15.20 to see if you can decipher the inside of Glover’s mind.
