Sharjah Fire: Videos on the fire social media showed burning debris falling from a tower.

Firefighters have managed to control a fire that broke out in a residential tower in Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates on Tuesday evening, the media office told the government of Sharjah.
Seven people were treated for minor injuries from the fire in the tower in Sharjah's Al Nahda area and taken to the hospital for treatment, the media office tweeted.
Videos on social media that were said to be testament to the fire showed burning debris falling from a flaming tower. According to local media, it was the 48-story Abbco Tower. Reuters was unable to review the footage immediately.

The residents of the tower were evacuated, the media office in Sharjah said. No one said whether the cause of the fire was known.
