Investing.com – Japanese stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in and sectors led to lower stocks.
At the close in Tokyo, the value fell by 0.59%.
The best performers of the session were SUMCO Corp. (T :), which rose 6.86% or 123.0 points to trade at 1916.0 at the close. Meanwhile, DIC Corp. (T 🙂 added 6.18% or 182.0 points to end at 3125.0 and above JGC Corp. (T 🙂 rose 4.06% or 62.0 points to 1590.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. (T :), which fell 9.64% or 54.8 points to trade at 513.7 at the close. Daiwa House Industry Co., Ltd. (T 🙂 dropped 6.24% or 222.0 points and ended at 3334.0 and Ebara Corp. (T 🙂 fell 6.15% or 191.0 points to 2914.0.
Falling stocks were 2496 to 1093 higher than the Tokyo Stock Exchange and 190 ended unchanged.
The shares of Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. (T 🙂 fell to 5-year lows; Lose 9.64% or 54.8 to 513.7.
The value that measures the implied volatility of the Nikkei 225 options remained unchanged at 0.00% to 16.10.
Crude oil for delivery in March rose 0.25% or 0.13 to $ 51.55 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.20% or 0.11 to $ 56.45 a barrel, while the gold futures contract rose by 0.06% or $ 0.95 in April fell and was trading at $ 1577.85 per troy ounce.
USD / JPY rose 0.00% to 109.81, while EUR / JPY fell 0.03% to 119.00.
The US dollar index futures rose 0.03% to 98,987.
