Is Kanye West walking down the campaign path? On July 4, the 43-year-old rapper tweeted that he was running for president in the upcoming 2020 election against Donald Trump – whom he has publicly supported in the past – and Joe Biden. "We must now deliver on America's promise by trusting God, uniting our vision, and building our future. I'm running for the President of the United States!" he wrote next to the hashtag # 2020VISION. Although Kanye didn't offer any further details, he seems to have Elon Musk's voice. The CEO of SpaceX quickly replied to Kanye's tweet: "You have my full support!"

Interestingly, this is not the first time Kanye has spoken of running for the president. During the MTV Video Music Awards in 2015, he said that he would stand in the 2020 election during his speech for the Vanguard Award. However, it is unclear whether he has submitted documents to officially launch a presidential campaign.
