Kanye West's next studio album could be one of his best, according to attendees at his last and secret listening party for it.
Two years after the release of his Jesus Is King LP, the rapper and super producer is returning with his much-anticipated Donda and could be released this Friday (July 23rd).
Buzz about the album, named after "Yes's late mother," began circulating online after web personality Justin Laboy tweeted that West played the upcoming album for him, NBA superstar Kevin Durant and others.

"Kanye played his new album for me and @ KDTrey5 in Vegas last night," Laboy said on the social media platform. “The production is light years ahead of its time and the bars sound like he's broke and hungry as he tries to re-sign. Any artist who plans to give up anytime soon should just push it back. "
It was also Laboy who claimed the album will be released this week.
Other details about Donda are only speculation, but other attendees at Sunday's listening party claimed that Lil Baby, Travis Scott, Westside Gunn, and more will be performing on the project.
In addition, Live Nation announced a Donda listening event for Thursday (July 22nd) at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, for which tickets have just been sold.
