Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry created a different type of election PSA to help motivate Americans in the 2020 election. On Wednesday, the couple released a song – for "Rise and Shine" – that encouraged fans to vote in person rather than relying on a postal vote. In many states, the U.S. Postal Service has expired this postal vote.
"Mom and Dad are just saying it's too late to send them in – it's sure to #wearamask will bring snacks and a friend!" Orlando recorded the video of himself and Katy with coffee cups in hand. You heard them guys!
Katy was vocal about her support for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris in this election and her efforts to ensure that people exercise their right to vote. As a British citizen, Orlando won't cast a ballot, but he has his children on mind when he sings their vote. "This is for future generations by the way. That little ditty will be for Daisy Dove," he said, referring to her 2 month old daughter. Check out the cute video below.
