We already knew that Kevin can fuck himself would be a hit from the first trailer, but now that we're nearing the end of the series the question arises: will there be a second season? The penultimate episode of Annie Murphy's show will air on July 25th on AMC, with the finale following immediately on AMC +. The fate of the show is currently unclear as it does not have to be extended or canceled yet. However, Raymond Lee, who plays Sam, recently told Comic Book Resources that he is hopeful. "Just keep watching and hold on," he said. "Hopefully, with the help of everyone and with some of the people who have gathered around it, sooner or later we can get a second season."
While discussing the series with Collider in July, showrunner Craig DiGregorio revealed what he has learned from the first season that he believes could affect a second season. "There are always new challenges, but we have certainly learned the strengths of each character. Not from each actor, but from each character and what they really want to do and how they would behave in any specific situation," he explained. “We learned how these interactions should work to make them most interesting. We never want just one scene where two people sit there and talk without saying anything.Wheelhouse is for what they love to do on screen and what they bring into the character – extra little things that we never get involved in would have thought. "
DiGregorio hasn't revealed whether a second season is already in the works, but hopefully we'll get answers soon!
