The French startup Klaxoon is currently testing a new product called Board. The company expects Board to hit the market sometime in the second half of September. Board is a new visual interface that connects directly to video conferencing services like Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Google Meet.
If you are not familiar with Klaxoon, The startup wants to make meetings more engaging and less boring. The startup has created a number of tools tailored to different use cases. There are voting and brainstorming modules, multiple features that you can use to collect feedback through questions, surveys and more. Meeting organizers can also get feedback and view analysis of their meeting.
While Klaxoon already offers interactive whiteboards for your meeting rooms, your team is probably not in the meeting room right now. Because of this, Klaxoon began working on board during the lockdown. You can access it from your phone, tablet and computer.
Board brings together a number of interactive tools into one video call. A blank canvas is added that you can use to write text, insert pictures or videos. You can also start with a template and fill it out during the call. Other people who join the call can respond with likes, voices, or questions.
And this is how it will look at startup:
Given that Klaxoon has been working hard to replace sticky notes and other low-tech solutions that have been used during meetings, the startup seems particularly well positioned right now. Many companies do not plan to reopen their offices in the foreseeable future.
Klaxoon has raised approximately $ 55 million over the years and now employs 240 people. 15% of Fortune 500 companies use the service.
