An Italian woman who went for a walk with her pizza-sized turtle was fined by the Roman police for 400 euros for violating strict rules for restricting the corona virus.
Italians need a legitimate reason to be in the middle of a pandemic that has officially killed more than 20,000 people in the Mediterranean since February.
Walking your dog is considered a reason enough to leave your home.
But it seems like you don't take a turtle out.
Roman police said "the 60-year-old woman was taken outside her home for no valid reason" and fined.
"The woman went for a walk with a turtle," says the police statement.
Roman police spokesman Nunzio Carbone told AFP that the woman was fined 400 euros for "no valid excuse".
The Italian authorities said they had imposed a record fine of 16,545 fines on Easter Monday, a national holiday in the largely Catholic country.
Another 13,756 fines were imposed on Sunday.
Italians have joked on social media that they rent their dogs to anyone who goes crazy and needs a good excuse to go out.
Carbone said the turtle was "the size of a pizza" but didn't wear a leash.
