Marshall has added active noise cancellation to its new Monitor II ANC headphones, a feature that its other models have had for some time, but a first for the company's over-the-ear model. With an ANC button, users can switch between active noise cancellation and "monitoring mode" or switch off active noise cancellation entirely.
Monitor II has also upgraded to a USB-C charging port and, like other current Marshall headphones, has built-in support for Google Assistant so you can quickly ask questions or read your notifications.
In addition to the ANC button, the Monitor II headphones have a multi-directional control button to control music and phone functions, and an M button to switch between user-defined equalizer presets and to activate Google Assistant.
According to Marshall, the Monitor II ANC is operated for 30 hours without charging with the active noise canceler active and up to 45 hours without charging. After 15 minutes of charging, the battery life is up to five hours.
Monitor II ANC headphones will be available from March 17th. They are sold for $ 319 in the United States, $ 169 in the United States, € 299 in Europe, or $ 269 in the United Kingdom.
