On Tuesday (November 26), Megan Thee Stallion received four Grammy nominations, and yesterday morning she came to Ebro for an interview about the current events in her life.
About 26 minutes into the interview, Ebro asked Meg about Tory Lanez's diss album "Shots Fired", which featured Notorious B.I.G.'s "Who Shot Ya".

"There comes a time when it becomes difficult to be the bigger person at times," she said after revealing that it was her idea to use the sample. "And at the end of the day, I can't just let people run over me. I can't let people take these bumps and I won't say anything. It's just not in my nature."
Also, Megan said that she originally didn't plan to bring out a platter of beef, but after Lanez decided to bring out one first, she had no choice.
"When you know you are right and you have nothing to prove, you really don't have to answer," she said. "But when you did rap rap you put it on wax, now I have to say something. I really had the song done but I thought you know what, just let me save it for the album. Because it was done to go the next day. I thought you know what, let's be quiet. Let's be patient. Let's see how this goes and just let me wait and put it on my album. "
Megan Thee Stallion released her debut album Good News on November 20th via 300 Entertainment. It is available for all streaming platforms.
