Naya Rivera's ex-husband and father of their son Josey broke his silence about the Glee star's death with a heartbreaking Instagram post.
"This is so unfair … there are not enough words to express the hole in everyone's heart. I can't believe this is life now," began Ryan Dorsey's contribution. It went on:
"I don't know if I'll ever believe it. You were just here … We were in the background the day before and swam with Josey. Life just isn't fair. I don't know what to say. I am thankful for our time and our journey that brought us together and gave us the cutest and nicest clever little boy we could ever hope for. I remember you sometimes got annoyed with me, "Ryan, can you stop having a chat?! & # 39; Haha, I'm glad I didn't listen to you because I have hundreds and probably thousands of snapshots and videos Josey will have forever and know his mother loved him more has as life and how much fun we had together as he grew up Life is all about good times and bad, but with Josey it makes the bad a little bit less because part of you will always be with us never forget where r he is coming. We miss her. We will always love you. Love you meep.
To everyone who came forward and I didn't stand a chance or just didn't come back to you … Thank you all for the overwhelming love and support you have sent us. In conclusion, I say, be kind to yourself, be kind to others, forgive … forget … have no grudge … if you have nothing nice to say, maybe try not to say anything. There is peace in the silence. Time on earth is precious and you just never know … you never know what could happen. Hold on to your loved ones and appreciate the times you have with those you care about. "
Rivera's body was recovered at Lake Piru in Ventura, California on July 13, almost a week after she was reported missing. She had ridden the boat with her son Josey and probably drowned after Josey was found alone on the boat hours after he returned from the apartment building.
