Nicki Minaj Shares Photos Of Her Baby Boy To Kick Off The New Year

Nicki Minaj shared photos of her boy for the first time after the birth on September 30, 2020.

The rapper posted several exclusive photos of her son, whom she named Papa Bear, on Saturday (January 2nd). The stylish photos were the first her fans saw of the joy she shared with husband Kenneth Petty.

"#PapaBear, thank you very much for choosing me to be your mom. I wish you a happy and prosperous new year," Minaj wrote in her post. "Thank you for your love and support during this trip. It meant so much to me."

Minaj gave birth amid the coronavirus pandemic and exacerbated social and racial justice issues, and also noticed for the first time a mother understanding the difficulty of a healthy pregnancy during these events.

She applauded all "superhero mothers" who had similar experiences and gave them "big hugs."

"Becoming a mother is by far the most fulfilling job I've ever done," continued the rapper. "I send love to all of the superhero mothers out there. Hugs to all of the women who were pregnant during these challenging times."
