MANILA (Reuters) – The Philippines recorded 50 coronavirus deaths, the highest in a single day, on Sunday, increasing the number to 297.
The Ministry of Health said in a bulletin that 220 new infections had increased the number of virus cases to 4,648. But 40 more patients recovered, a total of 197 recoveries.
