Pop Smoke reportedly died on February 19 on the way to the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Since then it is still unclear under what circumstances he died prematurely. The emergency call has now been released.
The call on TMZ conveys panic and chaos in connection with the discovery of the seriously injured body of the 20-year-old in the house he rented in Hollywood Hills.
The call begins with excitement in the background and the 911 dispatcher repeatedly asks: "Hello?" without answer. Someone finally answered the dispatcher, but didn't offer many details.
The dispatcher then tried to find out whether the suspected shooters were still in or around the house. However, the caller interrupted with "I can no longer speak to you!"
The dispatcher replied: "Listen to me. I will tell you how you can help this person. "It was apparently too late.
Pop Smoke, born Bashar Barakah Jackson, died of his gunshot wounds shortly after the emergency call. The police questioned some people about the deceased rapper, but no one was ready to speak. The LAPD still has no motive and is not sure whether robbery was a motive, even after Pop posted a video in his IG story showing luxury items that he supposedly just bought.
