After resigning as a senior member of the royal family (and closing the Sussex Royal brand), Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are almost ready to start their next public project: Archewell. The couple recently announced the name of their new nonprofit The telegraphthat will exist to "do something that matters, do something that matters". They registered the name for a number of uses, including audiobooks, clothing, scholarships, and more.
"Before SussexRoyal came the idea of & # 39; ark & # 39; – the Greek word that means & # 39; source of the plot & # 39 ;. We connected with this concept for the nonprofit organization that we will build one day and it became inspiration for our son’s name, "said the couple, as reported by E! news. "Archewell is a name that combines an old word for strength and action and another that recalls the deep resources that everyone has to fall back on."
Although Harry and Meghan are learning about this new company, they are not yet ready to officially reveal Archewell. "Like you, our focus is on supporting efforts to fight the global COVID-19 pandemic," they said. The couple added, "We look forward to launching Archewell when the time is right." In the meantime, the couple will continue to create social distance with their 11-month-old son in Los Angeles.
