Samsung has introduced its latest line of budget smartphones under the Galaxy A series, namely the Galaxy A52, the A52 5G and the A72.
In this article, aside from the A32, we're going to break down each other's offerings for those looking for an upgrade combined with cheaper prices.

- Quad camera setup with 12 MP width, 64 MP main, 5 MP macro, 5 MP depth for the A52 variants and 8 MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom for the A72.

The cameras are equipped with a 4K video snap that basically allows you to still capture 8 megapixel photos from the video playback. This is a useful feature for content creators in case they forget to take a special thumbnail.
In addition, thanks to Samsung's partnership with Snapchat, you can also play with built-in AR filters that you see on the app on a regular basis. That way, you can take high resolution photos from your phone's camera without having to use the app to get those dog-ear filters.

A52 & A52 5G: 4,500 mAh, 25 W fast charge.
A72: 5,000 mAh, 25 W fast charge.
All variants offer a battery life of 2 days via Adaptive Power Saving, new in the A series. It analyzes your usage patterns and automatically switches to energy-saving mode. Power saving mode essentially optimizes the CPU by disabling background apps to save battery.

A52: 6.5-inch FHD + Super AMOLED Infinity-O display (1080 x 2400), 407ppi, 90 Hz refresh rate.
A52 5G:: 6.5-inch FHD + Super AMOLED Infinity-O display (1080 x 2400), 407 ppi, 120 Hz refresh rate.
A72: 6.7-inch FHD + Super AMOLED Infinity-O display (1080 x 2400), 394ppi, 90 Hz refresh rate.
All variants also have lighter 800 nits screens so you can see what's on your screen even when it's sunny outside. To counteract eye fatigue from constant phone use, all variants reduce the blue light by 12.5%.
It also comes with the new Eye Comfort Shield, which was introduced during the S-Series launch earlier this year. This is a filter that adjusts the color temperature of the display to match your usage patterns.

A52 & A72: 128/265 GB internal storage and up to 1 TB support for microSD cards.
The phone's memory also has Samsung Knox built-in security with data isolation and encryption to keep your personal information safe.

A52 & A52 5G: 75.1 x 159.9 x 8.4 mm, 189 g.
A72: 77.4 x 165.0 x 8.4 mm, 203 g.
There are 4 colors available: Awesome Violet, Awesome Black, Awesome White and Awesome Blue with a matte haze finish. They have a water resistance of 1P67 and can withstand up to 30 minutes in 1 meter of water.
The camera housing for all variants now also looks significantly different, with a minimal bump and a uniform color that matches the body.

QuickShare is Samsung's answer to Apple's Airdrop that allows you to instantly share large files with other Galaxy devices. PrivateShare is secondary, and you can revoke any previously shared files.

5G will be implemented for the A52 5G, A42 5G and A32 5G variants for faster speeds, performance and performance when playing and sharing content.
Finally, One UI 3, a redesigned user interface, is part of the A-Series that has a cleaner look to reduce distractions.
There are currently no official launch dates or prices for these phones in Malaysia. However, we will update this piece with the information as soon as it is published.
For a rough estimate by converting their prices into euros, here is the range we may be looking at:
- A52: Around RM1.714,
- A52 5G: Around RM2,107,
