LeBron James not only lets magic happen on the basketball court, but also makes dreams come true outside of the court.
On February 12, Kent State University announced that they had partnered with the LeBron James Family Foundation to offer free tuition to all eligible students at its I PROMISE school for four years. The students not only receive lessons, but also accommodation and meals for one year. The moment the students found out about the partnership was captured on video and the joy of the students will warm your heart.
A post on the I PROMISE school Instagram page read: "OMG. This is amazing @kentstate. Keep going for us @ 11th grade @ ljfamfoundation students. #IPROMISE." In the video, Melody Tankersley, Temporary Senior Vice President in Kent State, said to the students: “You are the first class of Mr. LeBron James. His first love. It all started because of you. "
Todd Diacon, President of the State of Kent, added: "We do this because we know the transformative power of higher education."
