Snoop Dogg is ready to put his protest against the current President of the United States into the ballot box in November. The rap icon and entrepreneur announce that he will vote for the first time this year, and not for Donald Trump /
Snoop was interviewed on Thursday (June 4th) on the Real 92.3 radio show Big Boy & # 39; s Neighborhood and explained his newly discovered motivation to exercise his right to vote. "I've never voted a day in my life, but this year I think I'll go out and vote because I can't bear to see this punk in office for another year," he said.

His reason for not voting in previous elections is a sobering reminder of the spread of voter repression. "I was brainwashed for many years because I thought you couldn't vote because you had a criminal record," he said. "I didn't know that. My file was deleted so I can vote now."
Snoop also uses its platform to motivate others to vote.
"We have to make a difference, I can't talk about it and I can't be about it," he said. "I can't tell you to do it and then you shouldn't go. If I tell you to do something, I've already done it."
