The new Samsung Galaxy S20 series will be released next Friday, March 6th. This gives you a whole week to decide whether you want to pre-order the S20, S20 Plus or S20 Ultra.
There is nothing wrong with waiting for the release date before making a decision. However, if you are already going to buy one, you will get some good pre-order incentives if you make a commitment this week.
Regardless of which retailer you want to pre-order a phone with, you will receive a credit if you run your receipt via the Shop Samsung app on iOS or Android. Samsung will give S20 buyers a $ 100 voucher for use in its online store. Get a $ 150 gift card with the S20 Plus and $ 200 with the S20 Ultra.
The best pre-order incentives currently available are on Amazon, where every phone comes with a set of truly wireless Galaxy Buds earphones and a wireless duo charging pad at no additional cost. These gadgets are perks that you get in addition to the gift card mentioned above.
Amazon's offerings are hard to beat if you don't want to trade in a phone. If you do this, you will pay even less for your pre-order when you exchange your old device and buy it through Samsung. Samsung offers up to $ 700 in credit for your new S20 phone. Best Buy also accepts trades. At Best Buy, you get a double pack with Google's Nest Hub smart displays for $ 130. Typically, a single display costs that much, so you get a 50 percent discount each. There are many intelligent displays to choose from, which differ in price and features. My colleague Dan Seifert recommends this model if you are invested in Google services and really want to show the photos from your Google Photos collection. The screen can automatically adjust to the lighting in your room, so the photos look more like paper than a screen.
