Things are getting serious between Francesca Farago and Harry Jowsey! So serious that they got engaged! And of course they did during the Too hot to deal with Goodbye where we could all celebrate next to them. While keeping everyone updated on their relationship after appearing on Netflix's hottest reality show, Harry got down on one knee and virtually suggested a ring pop to Francesca. It wasn't a traditional proposal at all – apparently Harry hadn't rehearsed the moment at all and asked the question by asking, "Do you want to do this thing? Do you want to get married?" – but nobody was surprised when Francesca said yes!
"Harry knows I want to marry him, so of course," she said to the applause of narrator Desiree Burch. With the two currently quarantined in Los Angeles and Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, they'll have to wait for things to open again before moving in and buying rings, but we're excited to see how the wedding planning goes!
The couple had been discussing tying the knot for a while, especially so they could be together during the quarantine of the coronavirus pandemic. In a recent interview with Captial FM, Francesca said that it has been difficult to be away from Harry since she was in Canada and he is in the United States.
"It was really difficult because I haven't seen him since early March," she said. "If this quarantine continues for a few months, it's only a very long time without seeing the person you care most about. And if that's our resort – of course I want to marry him – we'll be with our friends later celebrate, but if I can only bring him to Canada through online marriage, we'll discuss it honestly. "
Francesca also spoke to Harry about her future plans, saying that she wanted to have children and start a family in Canada or his native Australia. "I'm just going to go where he wants to be. I don't care at this point," she said. "I'm obsessed with him. It's a problem."
Francesca and Harry have been together for a year now, even though they split up briefly to regroup. "We needed this little break, but it has been incredible since that little break," said Francesca. Obviously it is so amazing that they are tying the knot! We are already imagining "Save the Date" stationery with cheeky little possums.
