KIRKUK (Reuters) – Two oil wells were bombed in a small oil field on Wednesday and firefighters are working to put out the flames, oil officials and security forces said.
It was not immediately clear who was responsible for the bombings on the Khabbaz oil field, 20 km southwest of Kirkuk.
The field produces about 25,000 barrels a day, oil officials said.
