WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The US House of Representatives passed a law on Friday that allows members to cast their votes temporarily through a proxy. This is a historic change as the U.S. Congress is looking for ways to continue functioning despite the coronavirus pandemic.
The vote in the democratically run chamber was 217-189.
