LONDON (Reuters) – The British health authorities announced on Sunday that there were 12 new cases of coronavirus in the UK, for a total of 35.
Chief Medical Officer Chris Whitty said in a statement on Twitter that three of these positive tests were close contacts to a known case.
Six others had recently traveled from Italy and two from Iran. One patient had no relevant trip and the authorities were investigating how they got the virus.
