Surprise, they are twins! WandaVision The January 22 episode, which appears in the form of Wanda and Visions Bundles of Joy, was another shock for the audience. The twins, named Billy and Tommy, are born after a few eventful days in which both mom and dad drive themselves crazy and identify Wanda's good friend Geraldine. (Or is she someone else?) Regardless, Wanda and Vision have welcomed their boys home and are ready to move into happy, quiet lives.
Sike! Comic book readers know this is just the beginning for the new family of four. Although Wanda and Vision also have children in the comics who arrive in roughly the same way – via magic – the circumstances surrounding their birth are not the same. in the WandaVisionBilly and Tommy appear to be created without work from Wanda and to her surprise. In the comics, Wanda creates the twins with the help of fragmented soul pieces of a demon named Mephisto. (Abnormal family trip!) While the twins are just babies WandaVisionHer journey in Marvel Comics means there could be more for her in the future, although it won't be a straight route to fame. Follow my theory as Billy and Tommy in WandaVision will trigger the later rise of the Young Avengers.
If you need a quick refresher, the Young Avengers are exactly what they sound like: a group of mostly teenagers working to save the world. Among them are William "Billy" Kaplan, aka Wiccan, and Thomas "Tommy" Shepherd, aka Speed, whose names seem pretty familiar, don't they? In the comics, Wanda's twins took their souls back into Mephisto, but they destroy him and their souls are reborn as Billy Kaplan and Tommy Shepherd. Now the show doesn't seem to have a Mephisto, but the twins are still emerging. So the question is, can they exist outside of the show, inside a show WandaVision?
I believe that Tommy and Billy, like their comic book colleagues, will "go away" when everything that happens in WestView ends in episode ninth. But they will most likely return, possibly in their mother's next great adventure. Doctor Strange in the multiverse of madnessIf you haven't noticed several other members of the Young Avengers have been formed or are making their debut on upcoming MCU projects.
The first is Stature, who, as we discussed earlier, is Cassie Lang, the daughter of Scott Lang, also known as Ant-Man. She's already performed in the MCU and after snapture is likely the right age to join a team of crimefighters. Kate Bishop, also known as Hawkeye, will star in the Disney + series Hawk Eye alongside Clint Barton, who will act as her mentor when she takes on the role. America Chavez, also known as Miss America, will make her debut in Doctor Strange in the multiverse of madness (absolutely no coincidence!), and something tells me we might see Theodore "Teddy" Altman, aka Hulkling, the son of a Kree hero and a Skrull princess in Captain Marvel 2 or the Disney + series Secret invasion.
The most important piece of the puzzle – even more so than Billy and Tommy – is Nathaniel Richards, aka Iron Lad. He's the one who tracks down the other heroes to form Young Avengers, and he's likely to appear in Ant man 3. The big secret behind his identity is that he is from the future and has traveled in the past to defeat his future malevolent self, Kang the Conqueror. The same Kang the Conqueror that is supposed to appear in Ant man 3, represented by Lovecraft LandJonathan Majors. So you see people, it all comes together!
In summary, I believe that Billy and Tommy in whom we meet WandaVisionThe third episode is the starting point for Marvel's next superhero era, the Young Avengers. Everything that goes on in WestView will trigger a series of events that will lead to the formation and ascension of the improved humans, magical beings, and mutants who expand the MCU so far. We're in phase 27 before they run out of supplies. But of course it's just a theory. We have to see what happens when WandaVision ends!
