Heather Morris honors Naya Rivera in a special way. The 33-year-old actress released a dance tribute to her on Tuesday joy costar, who died accidentally drowning in Lake Piru, California earlier this month. Heather, who appeared on Naya's song "Radio Silence" in 2019, shared the emotional routine on Instagram and talked about the grieving process. "I want to share something very personal with all of you," she signed the video. "Grief looks very different for everyone … but one thing is certain: I felt that it is difficult to feel joy or to keep busy when you mourn without thinking that you do not honor this person or them Forgets. She thanked her fans for their support in a difficult time. "I've made 1 million followers in the past few weeks and I was annoyed at first because I got them from a tragedy, but after I took a breath, I realized that all of you just surrounded me with love and support" Heather continued. "That I can only see you angel wrapping your wings around me. So today I celebrate 1 million in homage to @nayarivera with her music and her voice, which will be my favorite forever." Heather had a particularly close relationship with Naya on the screen when the couple portrayed girlfriends – and eventual wives – Brittany Pierce and Santana Lopez.
Heather is among many joy Stars – including Kevin McHale, Darren Criss, Amber Riley, and Harry Shum Jr. – who paid homage to Naya. "She was the most talented person I have ever known. There is nothing she cannot do and I am angry that we will not see anymore," Kevin wrote on Instagram. "I am thankful for all the way she made me a better person.
