It's official: Thursday night episode of The Bachelorette brought in Tayshia Adams as the new lead for the season after Clare Crawley left Dale Moss early (and got engaged!). It'll be an adaptation for everyone with the new Bachelorette, but at least this isn't the first time Tayshia has navigated the internet Bachelor World.
Tayshia was first introduced to Bachelor Nation in 2019 when she appeared on Colton Underwood's season of The bachelor. She seemed to have a strong connection with Colton and made it through to the last three along with Hannah Godwin and Cassie Randolph. The season took a turn when Cassie, who tended to vote for Colton, left the show, leading to the infamous "jumping fence" incident. Ultimately, Colton decided to eliminate both Tayshia and Hannah even after Cassie quit, feeling that he was more in love with Cassie than either. Colton eventually went after Cassie and convinced her to have a relationship with him, but their romance ended in 2020.
Soon after her Bachelor Season end, Tayshia returned for the 2019 installment of Bachelor in paradise. Her main romance on this show was with John Paul Jones, a former cast member from Hannah Brown's season of The Bachelorette (By the way, Hannah and Tayshia met when they were both in the same season The bachelor). They went back and forth for a few months, but ended their relationship for good by the end of October 2019.
In August it was first announced that Tayshia was being used as a replacement for Clare The BacheloretteThe first lead switcheroo in the mid-season. This is her third time on one Bachelor Show – two less than Clare, which appeared in a season of The bachelor in 2014 before joining two seasons of Bachelor in paradise in 2014 and 2015 as well Bachelor Winter Games in 2018 and then register as this year's leading actress. We hope the third time is a spell for Tayshia and can't wait to see where their journey leads!
