Cases have increased in many countries where the novel corona virus has been successfully controlled due to religious events and other vulnerable situations such as migrant gatherings, said Maria Van Kerkhove of the World Health Organization.
"Every opportunity the virus has to take will do it. It is really important that countries are able to quickly identify these cases," she said in an online briefing.
WHO's Mike Ryan said that there seem to be new clusters in South Korea associated with clubs, accommodations and amusement parks, and that wastewater results in northern Italy showed that there was a possibility that the virus might have circulated there before anyone noticed it .
